We recommend use after 20 weeks and best results around 27-30 weeks. HMB takes time and patience and you will need to follow the detailed instructions.
Do not use HMB before 16 weeks.
I’m 23 weeks and the first night I downloaded this I didn't hear anything and got very nervous. I have an anterior placenta so maybe that has something to do with it as well, after a few days of playing with it I can normally find her (sic) after a few seconds! ❤️💕

This genuinely works! I was skeptical because it’s only using your phone but it’s worked since I was 20 weeks pregnant. The app teaches you the difference between yours and the babies heart rate too so you know the right one when you find it. My baby is a wriggler and it can take a minute or two to find where she’s sitting but I always find the heartbeat eventually and the rhythm is clear and strong. I love that I can record them to keep and share it with family, very cool!

At first I was sceptical (what can an app actual do...) but thought I’d just pay the $8.99 and try, as I’m a first time mama. At first just heart static and definitely have to move around/find the right spot and be in a very quiet room + be relaxed etc, but eventually I found my own heartbeat and then, after a couple different tries and maybe 15 mins later I found my baby’s heartbeat! Definitely sounds like a heartbeat, not static, and I can tell its not my own heartbeat as well. Absolutely perfect and worth giving it a go for such a low price!

“It’s very faint . When pressed against skin I couldn’t really hear anything but when I put my shirt back down and put my phone against the shirt directly where I had the phone with no shirt; then I was able to hear the heart beat. It’s cute for first time moms if you know where to look because it depends how far you are. How far you are depends on the baby’s position . Knowing your baby’s position will give you a fair idea where to put mic towards. You can test the theory by checking your own heart beat and determine from there. I get why the beat would sound faint and I knew what I was looking for which made it easy for me so I would give it 10/10 but I would defs say that you need to take some of this info i provided into consideration especially for first time parents.”

I put the phone over my heart and it picked up my heart sounds. I then put it over my abdomen, over the baby’s back, and it clearly picked up baby heart sounds at around 120bpm. There was no sound when the phone wasn’t on my skin. Very happy with this app!

I was 11 weeks when I downloaded this app couldn’t find the heartbeat so I was skeptical at first. But I tried it today and I am 16 weeks pregnant. It worked!!

other than lots of static in the background it’s a great one to use if you don’t have a Doppler. I have a Doppler so I’m very familiar of finding babies heart beat and the sound of the heart beat. unfortunately the static is very strong and throws off the heart beat a lot though, but it’s still there and vivid.

I originally bought this app around 22 weeks pregnant hoping I was going to hear the heart beat, but weary of actually hearing one after reading reviews and their warnings of best results. I heard the heart beat, but not until about 24 weeks along but just barely. Now that I compare recently saved heartbeats and the very first one it sounds more like the volume being too loud than a heart beat. I’m now 30 weeks along and can hear a perfect little heart beat. I also didn’t try to listen for a beat in between 24 weeks and 30 weeks. It’s amazing how calming hearing that little heart beat can be. I recommend this app to be used closer to your third trimester.

It works!!!
“I downloaded this very skeptical but decided that $6 could be worth it if I could hear my baby’s heartbeat! It took me about 45 minutes of laying down, very still, with noise canceling headphones on, but I HEARD HIS HEARTBEAT. I am almost 18 weeks pregnant. “
